About Us Petra Home Group
The Petra home group of New Hope Church is an organization for singles, couples, and couples with young children, which provides a forum to worship, fellowship, and gather in the name of Christ. The focus of this group is to establish and nurture a real relationship with God as well as with each other as brothers and sisters in Christ. We meet centrally at church and welcome all comers.
Our Goal:
The goal of our is to become the light and salt of the world by living as visible disciples of Christ both inside and outside of the church. In order to achieve this goal, the group focuses on the following:
- Studying and applying the word of God
- Build the body of Christ through loving fellowship
- Communicate with God through prayer
- Participate in mission and evangelism
- Prepare the members to become leaders and active servants of God's church and
- Serve the church and each other with dedicated and sincere hearts
Regular Activities:
- Bible Studies: Fridays at 7:00pm, and Saturdays at 10:30am or 4:00pm
- Come fellowship with a great bunch of people
- Come for the great food & company and engage in the lively Bible study
- New members are always welcome
- Summer activities: camping trip, fishing trip, and Cedar Point trip
- Fundraiser events: Pie-in-the-face, Chili Cook-Off, and other creative events
