Online Ministry

We have restored in-person worship, but will continue to livestream the service (masks, distance seating, and safety protocols)

as doing our part to lessen the spread of COVID19.

Please note on February 7th and March 7th will be communion Sundays, and will be entirely online.

Please join 10am Sunday for worship on Youtube.

Please join 9:30am Saturday for prayer meeting, and 7:30pm Wednesday for bible study on Zoom.

The New Hope Church of Michigan

Inspired and Inspiring

We commit to Abide, Gather, Grow, and Go so that we can be "inspired and inspiring."

Abide:  We pray and meditate on scripture daily using Living Life, a quiet time journal.

Gather:  We create bonding moments to have strangers become fellow sojourners.

Grow:  We live biblically by understanding how to embrace the commands of God.

Go:  We share our faith locally and globally through humble service and clear testimony.

Learn about Jesus, and begin to follow him, as a member of our community.

We are a member of the PC(USA), and proud to serve with the Presbytery of Detroit. Our pastor Samuel An received his BA in Political Science at Yale Univ, MDiv from Princeton Seminary, and teaches the reformed Christian faith with the conviction that the Bible is our infallible guide.

Wholistic Discipleship at
The New Hope Church of Michigan

We meet Wed evening at 7:30pm to discuss the passages we use for our personal Bible Study in Living Life.

We organize fun (and often tasty) monthly events designed to help strangers become fellow sojourners.

Grow: All who are interested in learning what it means to follow Jesus are matched with a mentor who will take them through our One to One Discipleship Course. We also dedicate some of the Wed Bible Studies to focus on studying each of the Ten Commandments in depth.

We mobilize monthly to serve our community and to share our testimony. We have a special heart to help vulnerable populations and churches serving unreached people groups.
