Our Story
Originally started as an English Ministry at the Korean Presbyterian Church of Metro Detroit (KPCMD), New Hope has now increased in both number and maturity. Over the years, it became apparent that if we were to have a vital and effective ministry, New Hope needed to become an individual church with its own Session and pastoral leadership.
On August 30, 2009, New Hope Church of Michigan began its independent life as a Presbyterian church (PCUSA). From the beginning, New Hope's focus was to gather believers, grow them in faith, and help them put their faith into action. With adding a focus on studying the word of God, this eventually became our mission to Abide, Gather, Grow, and Go.
After a time of transition and moving to different locations, New Hope is now nested in Novi, sharing space with Faith Community Presbyterian Church.
